Review: Bio Raptor is the main Zoid of Digald's forces in the Zoids Genesis anime. In the anime they are piloted by robotic drones with a dark secret, however the model kit includes the standard pilot figure, a bit disappointing. Bio Raptor Commander is a Limited Edition Zoid that was released simultaneously with Bio Megaraptor Glearmd. This is actually a really disappointing LTD Zoid, in the anime the Bio Raptor Commander has a drastically different color scheme which looks much better. The armor is much darker, creating a more sinister effect. I have no idea why Tomy chose to release a LTD Zoid based on the anime and then get the color scheme completely wrong but the kit itself is still good. Overall this release was a big disappointment for most Zoid fans, however it's still worth picking up if you can get a good deal. Bio Raptor is a nice kit and although this version doesn't match its anime counterpart I really don't think you could have too many Bio Raptors. Rating:
