Review:
Towards the last block of episodes in the Zoids Genesis anime Digald reveals a mighty Bio Raptor Gui force. They are used quite a bit from then on, from bombing runs, to reconnaissance. In the anime they are piloted by robotic drones with a dark secret, however the model kit includes the standard pilot figure, a bit disappointing.

The model kit is very nice, the design is very sinister, especially the head. Unfortunately the articulation isn't great but it's not a huge issue. The main weapons of the Bio Raptor Gui are the flamethrower located in its mouth, its claws, and teeth, however in the anime they are equipped with bombs on the underside of each wing.

Bio Raptor and Bio Raptor Gui's armor is made from regular plastic instead of the rubbery material the other Bio-Zoids use, this makes it feel more like a standard kit and less like a Bio-Zoid. Depending on how well you like Bio-Zoids this could be a good or bad thing. The two also share many parts, most likely as an effort by Tomy to reduce costs.

Although this kit isn't as cool as the Bio Raptor, it's still a good design with a quick and easy build. My only complaints are that Tomy did not create a figure of the robot pilot drone, or include the bombs depicted in the anime, although those were probably added as an afterthought. Definitely recommended to collectors or Zoids Genesis enthusiasts.
