Bio Tyranno is the second Bio-Zoid to be released within the Zoids Genesis line and is the largest of all the Bio-Zoids. Bio-Tyranno has the distinct characteristic of having black armor, which is referred to as "Darkness Hell Armor" in the Anime. In the television series Bio Tyranno is piloted by Gene, successor to the throne of Digald, the war-mongering nation who utilizes the Bio-Zoids.
Tomy took notice of the flaws Bio Megaraptor suffers from and moved to correct those errors with this release. The hell armor stays on without any problems and the articulation has been improved slightly. When you press a section of his spine the bio-core glows and Bio Tyranno will make one of several pre-recorded sounds. Its ribcage also folds out to reveal a second set of arms to be used during combat. Aside from this Bio Tyranno doesn't have any other features, which is a bit disappointing consider its size.
Overall Bio Tyranno is a good kit but not as impressive as I was expecting. There are no real flaws here but after assembling it I felt a bit underwhelmed. Recommended to Bio-Zoid fans and collectors.
