Review:
The first wave of Zoids in the Genesis line consisted mostly of Zoids that had been previously released but in dramatic new color schemes. There was much emphasis on realistic, darker, and toned down colors. Command Wolf LC sports a desert warfare scheme which is very visually appealing. The rubber caps are a dark red, which offers a nice contrast to the sand and black colors. Command Wolf LC is often depicted in the anime as a support unit, piloted by various unimportant characters.

While there are so many versions of Command Wolf (10 total) that have been released since Zoids were brought back in 1999 I was very pleased to see that this kit includes the long-range cannon which was only released previously with Irvine's custom Command Wolf. I suppose Command Wolf is one of the mainstays of the Zoids line, every model kit series has at least one and they always appear frequently in the anime.

I have nothing bad to say about the kit, it's a good design with a good look and nice features. The wind-up motor controls the walking and the head can be lowered, allowing a gear to engage which will slow the speed of the walk.

The one real complaint I have about this release of Command Wolf is that there is a gunner seat in the long-range cannon but only one pilot figure was included. The only other reason I gave this Zoid a lower score is because so many versions of Command Wolf have been released already and I really felt that another kit could have been rereleased instead.
