Review:
Several of the Zoids from the Genesis line are Zoids  that were previously released but with new or remolded parts. Soul Tiger was released in the NJR line as Rayse Tiger, here it is sporting a brand new color scheme as well as some additional weapons. When Tomy originally released Rayse Tiger a last-minute cost cutting measure forced them to drop what was intended as a large part of its gimmick. Now with Genesis Tomy has gone back and given us what should have been Rayse Tiger to begin with.

Soul Tiger features a full set of LED lights in its backpack that are activated by pushing its head up until it makes contact with a small button on the backpack. This is a very nice feature because you don't have to turn on Soul Tiger's motor to see the lights, that definitely makes taking pictures easier. In addition to the fully functional backpack Soul Tiger has many new parts which consist of a new eye-cover and a set of large blades that fit over each foot.

In the anime Soul Tiger is piloted by a man named Seijuurou who was once a battle arena champion but sought solitude after accidentally killing his apprentice in a match. Seijuurou's quiet demeanor doesn't really match the technologically advanced look of the Soul Tiger but regardless of that I think Soul Tiger is an excellent kit and a worthy addition to any collection.
