Review:
Iron Kong PK was the second Limited Edition Zoids released in the NJR line. While Gojulas the Ogre and Shield Liger DCS-J were released around the same time Iron Kong PK is the rarest and most sought after of the three.
PK stands for "Prozen Knights" which is a special unit in the Guylos Empire. Iron Kong PK features a much different color scheme than the standard Iron Kong as well as all of the upgrades available for Iron Kong. These weapons were all part of the Empire Custmize Set from the original line of Zoids during the '80s. Iron Kong PK also features several custom stickers, which I always like. It has several of the PK Bee insignia, as well as several stickers that depict Iron Kong's head and say "Bloody Kong". Unlike CP-01, 02, and 03 Iron Kong PK comes with the actual rubber hoses instead of thick coiled springs.
Many fans have debated over the true color of Iron Kong PK, some saying that its color is pink. I can say with absolute confidence that Iron Kong PK is not pink, in fact it is Alizarin which is a shade of red. I also think it's clear from the above pictures, which use natural light, that Iron Kong PK is nowhere near pink.
Iron Kong PK looks very imposing with all of these weapons and the colors look great. However, its limited nature and extra weapons make it quite expensive, casual fans might want to save their money but I highly recommend this kit to anyone that can afford it, it's easily one of my favorite Zoids ever.
