Review:
Shield Liger DCS-J was the first Limited Edition Zoid to be released in the NJR line of Zoids. DCS-J stands for "Double Cannon Special-Jet" because he comes with the CP-01 cannons. I like how Tomy actually took the time to come up with new stats for this Zoid, however this kit doesn't come with a custom sticker sheet.

While Shield Liger DCS-J doesn't feature drastically different color scheme it still makes for a very cool Limited Edition Zoid. The black and silver contrast nicely and the inclusion of the CP-01 weapons is definitely a plus. Shield Liger DCS-J is part of the Helic Republic's elite Leo Master's. Their logo is depicted on Shield Liger DCS-J's box and I happened to have several Leo Master's stickers so I added one to the side of DCS-J's head.

Shield Liger DCS-J is rather rare now and is definitely one of the cooler Limited Edition Zoids, the colors are great and I always liked Shield Liger with CP-01. His high price point may deter casual fans but for the serious collector this Zoid is a must have.
