Review:
Takara-Tomy continues to improve the Legend Blox line with the release of LB Iron Kong. While the previous Legend Blox do resemble their motorized counterparts LB Iron Kong does a much better job of retaining all the key asthetic elements while providing a lot of articulation.

Oddly enough LB Iron Kong is shown on the side of LB Gojulas Mk-II's box in NJR colors complete with green canopy, but the actual kit comes molded in OJR colors which was a bit of a disappointment to me since I don't have much interest in the OJR line. Still the black and red look nice although I do feel that the light gray weapons stand out a bit too much and a green canopy piece would have offered a bit more contrast.

LB Iron Kong is not difficult to assemble and once completed is a lot of fun to pose. The kit feels much sturdier than previous Legend Blox kits and the designers did a much better job of hiding the Blox. The articulation offers a lot of dynamic poses and LB Iron Kong looks great on display.

Overall LB Iron Kong is the best of the Legend Blox series thus far. I would have taken off points for being molded in OJR colors but that's really just an issue of personal preference. If Takara-Tomy can continue the level of quality they have achieved with this release the Legend Blox line is sure to prosper.
